Are all Internet marketing gurus liars?
Of course not. As aren't all politicians!
But you MUST be very careful whom you believe. You see all, internet marketers share a common passion. And that is -- "to make money"! Some go so far that they forget their values (which were much different than yours or mine in the first place). Their main purpose is to make massive amounts of money online. Period.
Most of them don't lie directly, but kind of omit to tell the whole truth or frame the presentation in such a way that what would you normally perceive as a down side you now perceive as a benefit. There's not very much wrong with that as long as they fully deliver at the end.
But some, some of the most rich ones, have gone to the dark side and are intentionally deceiving you and lying into your face and later, when you buy their product, they are laughing hysterically on the way to the bank to cash their checks.
I'm going to tell you a secret. Pssssssst. Don't tell it to anyone, promise? OK, good...
You can have an information product done for you for as little as $500. You don't have to lift a finger. All you have to do is to hire a ghostwriter to do all the research and write you a nice little ebook on ANY topic ($250-$300). Then you can have a professional graphic made for your site with header, footer, background and an ebook cover ($97). All you have to do is write a sales letter yourself and you're done. If you don't know how to do that, you can have one written for you (you have to add another $300 to the budget). Without the sales letter you spent till now $397. Now you're left with $103 for your domain name and hosting. That's it -- $500 dollars and you now have YOUR OWN professionally made product to sell.
Most ebooks sell for $47. You have your money back after only 12 sales (we assume you choose PayPal as your payment processor and they charge some money every sale made). Everything else is pure profit. But the gurus go a step further. They claim that what's in their book is the result of 10 or 15 years of testing and "trial and error" and that what you're buying for just $97 is actually worth $1257,45. The truth is that it was written by a ghostwriter that doesn't have a clue about internet marketing and has gotten the information for free by doing some simple searches on Google. You could have done the same, but are masterfully convinced that it isn't possible and that you "need their ebook".
Now for only $47 more, you can have ClickBank sell your product for you. You have now access to a giant lever -- affiliates. You have to write an appealing promotion for affiliates and grant them a high commission (60%) -- what do you care. It's not like you have any extra work. In fact that way you don't have to even promote your site.
So, if you're really lazy, which most of us and them are, you actually have to spend about $1000 to have everything done for you. You just sit back and and watch the ca$h roll in...
Got a bit out of track there, but still, the answer to the question: Are all Internet marketing gurus liars is plain and simply... YES, they are actually. But there's an even more scary thought out there... We are all liars! We lie all the time and every day. Gurus have just creatively transformed what we do all day long into cash... which is nothing wrong.
But people will rather than learn by their mistakes, buy more of the guru's products on how to do Internet marketing...
