"Internet marketing unveiled"
Hi,
welcome to my blog. First, let me ask you a question...
... Have you ever had a feeling you landed on a web site that had just what you were looking for? You know -- maybe you were there, reading the words on your monitor, as you suddenly begun to notice how much you are paying attention to what you read...
...And as that feeling grew with every word you read, you can also notice how that feeling of your body weight pressing down on your chair doesn't even matter any more, the sound of the computer simply vanishes. You pay no attention to how the blackness of each letter seemingly without transition becomes the white background and back. The feel of your clothes against your skin is simply not there -- you just read on...
The look of the site might compel you so much that you start too form an excellent impression in your mind about this site. You soon realise it was written by someone who really knows a lot on the subject and you want to know more about him...
You feel the person behind this web site can really help you and you know you can trust him. You know that feeling of complete trust? When you position someone inside your mind in that place where your true friends are... With me, it's usually accompanied with that warm feeling of a powerful connection. And you? How do you feel when you trust someone while you're reading their web site?
The intention of the above question is to show you what you have to focus on with your prospects. It's emotion... or so many marketers think and/or would like you to believe. The truth is...

"You Have To Stir Emotion In Your Prospects, But Always Back Your Arguments With Logic"
People normally (almost always!) make EMOTIONAL DECISIONS first, and then back them up with logic. You must employ this knowledge in internet marketing (as well as with any other marketing). If you want to succeed, that is.
The important thing to note is that the "logical explanations" they make are usually simple "rationalisations". They may even not make sense. So make sure you answer the question "why should I buy this product". Help people make that "logical" explanation of their feelings towards something you sell.
This is it for now. Reread the entire post if necessary. It holds some keys to online success. Till next post, have a great time!
